A Day in the Life (of a cat)
Hi, we're Katie's cats, and we're here to tell you something: it's tough to be a cat. Between keeping the dog in line and helping our owner with her homework, sometimes we need an outlet. So we're going to try blogging.

Lazy Sunday
Ha ha, Katie has to write a 4-page paper and we get to sleep on her bed. She's not very happy about that. She also told us to tell you that she hasn't been posting because of how busy she's been. School doesn't sound very fun, all she does is homework.

Hey Everyone!
Stewie here... Ever have one of those days when you feel to lazy to do anything? Katie posted on her other blog, but she was too lazy to post anything on this blog. I took care of it for her, even though I think I need more sleep than her- it's awfully tiring to be a cat, but I think I do a good job of it.

A Fuzzy Update
Hi everyone, Katie here today. Apparently having my cats run this blog wasn't a good idea, because it has been sadly neglected (on a serious note, sorry about the lack of posts, I'm not even going to try to come up with an excuse, there just isn't one.) So from now on my cats and I will share this blog. Today I'll just be giving you an update on all the fur that runs around our house.
We'll start with Miss Kitten. It's been a while since I posted a picture of her. However, she is just fine with that, being less-then-fond of the camera. Also not on her favorite list are Gracie and her kittens. They are old enough that we've started bringing them in the house, and until Miss Kitten gets on better terms with them, we've taken to shutting her in the sewing room. Which, by the way, is hardly exile. Just the other day she was shut out of the sewing room, and she stood at the door and meowed, loudly, until I opened it for her.
Gracie is getting used to a soft life in the house. So much so, in fact, that when she is outside, she has taken to walking on railings and window ledges, begging to be let in. She has also put on several pounds around the equator now that her kittens are no longer nursing.
Amy is Amy. She hasn't changed much, except in size. She's still the sweet, playful, quirky kitten she's always been. She's also the only one of the kittens who hasn't grown larger than Gracie.
Ellis is always in trouble. Or looking for trouble. He's probably one of the two even as I write this. This picture shows him practicing his latest hobby- stealing and chewing on socks. No sock is safe from Ellis at our house.
Stewie spends his time sleeping. And acting like all his joints have been dislocated at the same time. As my sister says, he has no concept of how cats are put together, or how they are supposed to act. He's a sweetie, but he is also made of jello. His fluffy fur has earned him the nickname of "Marshmallow."
In the last week, I have not seen Marbles out of that box more than four or five times. We now refer to her as "The Rectangular Cat." She tolerates Gracie and her kittens, but is not at all fond of them. Marbles was a momma herself at one time, so I think she's just tired of having kittens running around. I agree with her, it can be exhausting.

This is from a while ago...
Gracie here today! Katie hasn't been taking many pictures of us lately, so I found some old videos of us when my kittens were still little. Here's one of me and Stewie playing.

Sunny Day
Hey everyone, it's Amy again. Katie brought me down to her room for a while today, but decided to put me back out when I tried to climb her door. She got so excited, but it really wasn't that much fun to climb. I tried once and failed, but I'm not the type to just give up! I kept trying until Katie told me it was time for me to go outside. It was gorgeous out today, so I spent the rest of the day outside in the garden.
Ellis and Stewie joined me, but they fell asleep almost right away. They're so lazy.

Just passing the time -Amy
Katie spends most of her time in her room when she gets home, so sometimes I keep her company. She spends her time doing 'homework' as she calls it. I don't know why its work, she seems to be playing with the klacky-thing she calls a keyboard, and sometimes she wiggles a stick over some paper. I hate to be left out, so whenever she's playing with the klacky-thing, I walk back and forth across it. When I walk on it, it makes cool noises and Katie gets excited. When she's playing with the stick, I have so much fun chasing it.
This is me helping her with a drawing for her art class...
Sometimes I take some time off, and play with my toys over on Katie's bed. She has a water bed, so it was scary at first, but now it's so much fun to play on!!
Till later-
